band, the instrumentation on this album consists of electric
and acoustic bass, electric and acoustic guitars, drums,
piano, lead and background vocals. The genres range from
pop/rock to funk to saucy jazz numbers and poignant ballads,
highlighting Krüger’s sophisticated piano work.

About the Title:
I wrote all these songs when I was in college at the University
of Southern California. It was towards the end of my senior
year when we were recording the album. I named it “Bachelor
of Apathy” as a mockery of the Bachelor’s degree
I had been working at for four years. It seemed to tie all
the songs together and sum up how I felt about the world
of academia at that time in my life.
